A lot of great places that we went, amongst them the colourful Malay settlement in Cape Town, the diamond factory and shops had no pics bcause the memory card in our phone was full. But then, I had a great vacation, even though there was a lot of shopping in our schedule (which I hated), Gucci Mom even bought a tanzanite - a blue diamond only found in South Africa. Diamonds are a great attraction here, as the stones here are of great quality.

A lot of muslim restaurant can be found in Cape Town because of the muslim population there, but still found in Johannesberg, even though it is small in number. So, in Jo'berg, if u wanna eat in a nice muslim restaurant, book first, coz it is always full. The seafood is awesome, we had fresh lobsters, fish, mussels, calamari - (grill buttered calamari is so delicious).

In South Africa, even though their ZAR or rand here is twice as much as RM (RM 30 = ZAR60), things aren't cheap here. Even a burger costs ZAR180. Maybe this is because threre are a lot of mines here - diamond, gold, semi-precious stones and a lot more, so mostly the white people are freaking rich, which is contra to the blacks, as most of them are unemployed (there is 40% unemployment here).

All in all, I enjoyed the vacation and urge you people to go there and do a lot of nature themed activities as much as you can eg - safaris, hiking, abseiling etc etc.

ps - don't take Singapore Airlines, the food sucks!
